The airport shuttle bus can save you a change when its route stops near where you need to go. Check the destination before you board. Do not choose a bus just because it is leaving soon.

  • Where to board:
    • T2 terminal: The bus stop and ticket point are outside Gate 11 on F1.
    • T3 terminal: The bus stop and ticket point are inside Gate 1 on F1.
  • Service area: Each airport bus route makes stops along the way, rather than running only to its final destination. Routes include services toward Beijing South Railway Station, Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), Badaling Great Wall, and more. Taking an Official Taxi from PEK

An official taxi is a straightforward choice if you want a direct ride without relying on mobile data or a ride-hailing app.

  • Where to board:
    • T2 terminal: Use the taxi rank in the middle lane outside Gates 5 to 9 on F1.
    • T3 terminal: Use the taxi waiting area on B1.
  • Fare: The meter starts at about $2 for the first 3 km, then adds about $0.32 per km. Every trip also has a $0.14 fuel surcharge. From 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the per-kilometre rate is 20% higher. On a one-way trip, the distance beyond 15 km is charged at 50% more per kilometre. Slow traffic, waiting time, tolls, and bridge fees can also increase the final fare.
  • How to pay: Set up WeChat Pay or Alipay before you arrive, and carry some cash as a backup. International card acceptance is uncertain.
